Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actor as a young person shortly after moving to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and then from 2020 on - made her famous. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot TV series called New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got a GED. She went on to get an undergraduate degree in Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
