 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) is known as his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American rapper, singer as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. The artist has released two EPs under Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and"[3as well as a self-titled EP released in 2014. Mansion was his debut major label release. His second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22, 2016. It reached number 12 on the US Billboard 200. The albums have earned him numerous awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception reached number one in the United States in 2017, and the third single, "Let You down" made it to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100, and was a top-ten hit internationally. The Search, his sequel to the album that became a hit, also was a commercial hit. Feuerstein declared that in his early years, rap was his escape. Feuerstein would record songs using an singing machine. He recorded instrumentals as well as performed raps using one microphone. On November 29 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. On August 2, 2011, he released his debut single "Alone". Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and produced the song. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in 2012. The artist published his debut extended play I'm Free on May 2nd, 2012 and Profitt provided the production. The playlist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds, the singer of "Alone". Xist released a teaser for the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein broke off from the label after a dispute and the production of NF was delayed. NF also included a song titled "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams in its compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4 2013 he dropped the single "Beautiful Addiction". The song again featured an appearance by Profitt, as well as the voices of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
