Unbearable joy is felt when an old book, or a novel we have read since we were children has been adapted for the screen. Imagine that you're the main character of the book that you've been reading since childhood. Feels surreal? Olivia Rodrigo's experience was the same. Olivia debuted into the world of acting following bagging the lead role in the TV show American Girl -the episodes of which Rodrigo had been watching since she was 7 years old. Olivia was able to portray the role she's loved and connected to since childhood. The actress was soon recognized for her talent and is now an established face for the majority of Disney television viewers. While it was an incredibly sweet win, it came at a high price. Olivia's success was not without cost. She had to relocate between cities frequently. This meant she sacrificed her education and time with friends.
